this is track.
break that 8 track limit in your DAW.
also yes, very creative name, i know
track is a free plugin developed as a workaround to track count limits in DAWs (like in Ableton Live Lite)
to start using track, add the plugin to any track within your host DAW—you now have a mini DAW in a plugin
you can then create tracks to play audio clips, as well as hosting other plugins with delay compensation

Features
unlimited stereo audio tracks, which can be nested using groups
scanning and hosting plugins for individual tracks and/or groups
here's features that will (probably) be implemented, and ones i don't intend on implementing:
i lay them out like this to be as transparent as possible to the probably only 2 users of track
Upcoming Features
  • sample rate mismatch correction
  • automation medium for host DAW to hosted plugins
  • support for annoying time signatures
  • bounce tracks
Scrapped Features
  • MIDI support
  • sends and returns
  • inter-plugin audio routing
